Desert Oasis: A Girls Weekend
Desert. Sun. Girlfriends. I'm in!Our recent girls weekend in Scottsdale took us to a Spanish oasis at The Omni Montelucia Resort & Spa. Upon checking in Friday afternoon, we freshened up and met up with some of our friends for an evening of cocktails and heavy appetizers by the outdoor fire pit. The warm, dry desert weather was a crowd favorite!
Our suite was nestled at the base of Camelback Mountain. Sipping our coffee and watching the sun come up over that mountain in the morning was a vacation highlight for sure. A morning yoga session outside with our bestie Brittni Soo is how we started the day off and quickly changed into our bathing suits for a fun (yet very relaxing) day at the pool.
The resort felt like absolute luxury, everything from the delicious food at their 6 restaurants, and stunning Spanish inspired grounds with the most beautiful floral walkways. Sophistication, art and design of seemed to be a theme the entire weekend.
I am in love with this beige strapless one-piece by AMAIÒ Swim. Classy yet cheeky ;) so soft and smooth. This bathing suit is as comfortable as it is stunning to look at. After spending most of the day sipping on Moscow Mules by the pool with the girls, we made our way to Centro for some Ahi Tacos (which are very light but very good!). What I love about this most about this versatile one-piece is that it is so transitional, you can wear it to the pool or the beach and beyond since the corset-inspired one-piece doubles as a bodysuit. The Émilie cover-up was the perfect après pool solution that day.
Nonetheless, the much needed girls weekend was a huge success. We were able to hit all points by refreshing our mind, body, stomach (ahhh the food!) and soul, we all went home recharged....and only one of us missed our flight! ;)
